Post Your Score and Monitor Your Handicap

Did you forget to post your score at The Woodlands today?  Would you like to view your current handicap information?  Now you can do it all through The Woodlands Golf and Country Club website.  Follow these simple steps to get you into the Golfnet Site to post your score.  Here is the basic information that you need once you access the site.

New Procedures as of 10/12/11

You will now be directed to this site - scgolfnetwork.org

From this point, you will have to do one or two things

1.  If you already have a MY SCGA Account, enter your username and password.  You can then post your score from there.

2.  If you do not have an account you must do the following:
    - Enter your username - your username is entered the following way
         1.  Type 86075 then add your posting # and a 0 - if you have a suffix, either a 1 or 2, add that instead of the 0
ex.  if your posting # is 7272, your username would be 8607572720
if you have to enter a 1 or 2 after you type your posting # your username would be 8607572721
This usually applies to people who have both husband and wife or families with the same posting #

     - Enter your PASSWORD
         1.  Your Password is your Last Name in All CAPS -
ex.  Tom Mason - Password is MASON

So Tom Mason posts at the club using the # 7272

Tom's username to get into the system would be 8607572720

Tom's password would be MASON

Once you do this you can created and change your own username and password

This Process is required by the SCGA and is being done in conjunction with the conversion of the new handicap software.

When posting your score, please be sure to adjust your score correctly using the Equitable Stroke Control System

EQUITABLE STROKE CONTROL (ESC)

This is a part of the USGA's handicap calculation formula. When calculating handicaps, ECS rules dictate a limit to the number of strokes a player is permitted to take as a score on any given hole.

Here are the charts for USGA and RCGA Equitable Stroke Control.

EQUITABLE STROKE CONTROL (UNITED STATES)

Course Handicap Maximum Number On Any Hole
9 or better Double Bogey
10 through 19 7
20 through 29 8
30 through 39 9
40 or more 10

Click Here to register to receive your monthly handicap index by e-mail from the South Carolina Golf Association.  Each e-mail will contain your 20 score history along with the latest SCGA and CGA news.  You must go through the one time registration on the right hand side of the page that you are directed to.
