Upcoming Social Events at The Woodlands
We had one of the coldest winters this year, but spring is right around the corner, and it is time to come out of hibernation and enjoy some sunshine and warmer weather. It is the perfect time for a round of golf, a game of tennis or a cool down at the pool. We are excited about the golf tournaments Tom has scheduled, the tennis clinics and mixers Lauren has planned, and the spring and summer promotional events we have established at The Woodlands.
Our spring promotion, Fly Into Spring With A Balloon on A String, involves bright and colorful balloons. This year we will be offering any prospect interested in joining the Woodlands to, “Come Join the Fun!” He or she will have the opportunity to “Pick n’ Pop” a balloon that will hold a discount on his or her initiation fee. This discount ranges from 25% to 75% off. We have 50 balloons available, but this promotion will only run from March 1st, 2010 until May 31st, 2010.
For our current members, we are offering credits to your account for each new member you sponsor. Once you sponsor a new member, not only will you receive credits to your account, but your name will also be entered into a drawing to win ONE-YEAR OF DUES paid in full. The more new members you sponsor, the more credits you receive and the more times your name is entered into the drawing. Our winner will be announced in March 2011. This gives you an entire year to sponsor new members and to better your chances at winning ONE-YEAR OF DUES paid in full. We mailed each member of The Woodlands a brochure with more information. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or with any prospects you would like to invite to the club.
We had a nice crowd for the Valentine’s Dinner, despite the cold and icy weather. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Our Member’s Lounge offers lunch Tuesday through Sunday and dinner Wednesday and Friday in a friendly, casual environment. Special occasions are listed on the club website.
The Club also offers private dining rooms and more that 4000 square feet of banquet space, including a hardwood dance floor and audio/visual capabilities for special events, business meetings, wedding receptions, luncheons and dinners. Members have the benefit of using the facilities at a reduced rental rate, and may sponsor a non-member for private functions.
Accommodations can be reserved with our Food & Beverage Director.
